Communication is key among lawn maintenance companies!

Communication between lawn treatment companies and lawn cutting services is crucial. It's important that they communicate to avoid overlapping services. While applying most granular fertilizers may be less of a worry, granular herbicides and water based products must be left alone for at least 24 hours in order for them to penetrate the plant  and do its job.
Although it's not the end of the world when your lawn is cut immediately following a granular fertilizer treatment, it is best if the service is avoided and held off until the granules have a chance to settle in to the soil so that they can offer even coverage. If the lawn is cut right away, especially if the grass is long, you run the risk of disturbing the even spread of the fertilizer application. However, if your lawn is cut too soon after a pesticide treatment,  the treatment won't have enough time to work and therefore be wasted time, product and money.
Most pesticides are mixed in water and are sprayed on the plant. In order for the product to do its job, it needs at least 24 hours to penetrate the plant. Although the product appears to dry within hours of application, it still needs the extra time to thoroughly work.
The advantage of working with KentuckyBlue.Com is that we will never let your mowing service and lawn treatments interfere with one another. Once you're signed up with KentuckyBlue.Com to care for the health of your lawn, we will offer you our recommendations to hire one of our partners for your mowing service. If you desire only one company to deal with, we will be happy to manage everything for you at no added cost. However, if you are comfortable with your current mowing  service, we will be happy to work with them as we do with our current partners.
Either way, you will benefit from the way we operate.  It is part of our plan to ensure that your lawn gets the attention it needs. We'll keep that line of communication open to you and the companies cutting your lawn so that no application are wasted. By coordinating our efforts,  your worries are minimized and your lawn will be the nicest in the neighborhood.
